Crowd Flasher — Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 23, 2025
Rig‑A‑Roo Studios (“Rig‑A‑Roo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Crowd Flasher mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the App, how it is used, and the choices you have.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1) What We Mean by “Personal Information”
For this Policy, “personal information” (also called “personal data”) includes information that can reasonably be linked to a device or individual—including device identifiers (for example, an advertising ID)—even if we do not know your name or email.
2) Information We Collect or Receive
2.1 No Account Required
We do not require you to create an account and we do not directly collect your name, email address, or phone number when you use the App.
2.2 Device & Usage Information (Processed by Providers)
When you use the App, certain information is processed by our service providers (listed in Section 6). This may include:
• device and operating system information,
• device identifiers (for example, an advertising ID).
2.3 In‑App Purchases
Purchases (e.g., ad removal) are handled by your platform’s app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not receive or store full payment details. We may receive anonymized purchase confirmations (e.g., that a purchase occurred) so features can be enabled.
2.4 Recording & Media Permissions
Camera/Microphone: Access is requested only when you choose to record video within the App.
Saving to Device: We request permission to save the videos you create to your device’s library. We do not read or access your existing photos or videos.
Storage of Recordings: Your recordings remain on your device. We do not upload your videos to our servers.
2.5 Support Communications
If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you include. We use this solely to respond and provide support.
3) Advertising & Consent
3.1 Google AdMob & Google UMP
The free version of the App shows ads via Google AdMob. We use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect and honor your consent choices where required. AdMob may process your IP address, device/advertising identifiers, and app interaction data to deliver and measure ads. Depending on your settings, ads may be personalized or non‑personalized.
Your controls:
Use the in‑App consent prompt (where available) to select personalized or non‑personalized ads. You can reset your consent status anytime using the Manage Privacy Settings button. Purchase the ad‑removal product to stop ad display in the App.
4) Push Notifications & Local Reminders
Push Notifications: We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver notifications you’ve enabled.
Local Weekly Reminders: The App may schedule local reminders on your device. These are handled on‑device; no personal information is sent to our servers to schedule them.
Your controls: Turn notifications on/off in your device settings. Some preferences may also be available in‑App.
5) How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
• provide, operate, and maintain App functionality;
• display advertisements via Google AdMob consistent with your consent choices;
• deliver push notifications (via FCM) and configuration/feature flags (via Remote Config);
• respond to user emails and provide support;
• comply with law and enforce terms.
6) Third‑Party Services We Use
These providers process information to enable App features. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies. Depending on the feature, they may act as service providers/processors or independent controllers of their own processing.
Google AdMob (ads) & Google UMP (consent)
Uses device/advertising identifiers and usage signals to deliver and measure ads according to your settings/consent.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) (push notifications)
Delivers the push notifications you’ve enabled (including regional/language topics).
Firebase Remote Config (feature/config delivery)
Uses app instance identifiers to fetch configuration values and feature flags to operate the App.
Unity Cloud Content Delivery (CCD) & Unity Addressables (remote content delivery)
Delivers remote catalogs and asset bundles from Unity’s servers to the App. For details, see Unity’s Privacy Policy.
App Stores (Apple App Store / Google Play)
Handle billing and distribution; may provide anonymized purchase confirmations (not full payment details).
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers.
7) Disclosure of Personal Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose information:
• To Service Providers to deliver ads, consent management, notifications, configurations, and platform utilities (Section 6).
• For Legal/Protection Reasons if required by law or to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.
• Business Transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (your information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to this Policy).
8) Your Choices & Controls
Permissions: You can deny or revoke camera/microphone/photos access in device settings. Some features will not function without the relevant permission.
Ads: Use the in‑App consent prompt (where available) to select personalized or non‑personalized ads. You can reset your consent status anytime using the Manage Privacy Settings button (available where legally required). Purchase the ad‑removal product to stop ad display in the App.
Notifications: Turn App notifications on/off in your device settings.
Deletion/Access: You can request deletion or a copy of support emails you sent us by contacting admin@rigaroostudiosllc.com.
9) Data Security
We use appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No security system is impenetrable.
10) Data Retention
Recordings: Stored locally on your device; not uploaded to our servers.
Support Emails: Retained only as long as needed to address your request and for legitimate business or legal purposes.
11) Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the relevant age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can delete it.
12) International Users
Processing may occur on your device and on our service providers’ servers, which may be located outside your state, province, or country. Where applicable, cross‑border transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) made available by our service providers.
13) Your Rights (Depending on Your Location)
EEA/UK (GDPR): You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. Our legal bases include consent (e.g., personalized ads) and legitimate interests (e.g., operating the App and optional features such as notifications). You can withdraw ad consent at any time using the in‑App Manage Privacy Settings button. We respond to GDPR/UK GDPR requests within one month (extendable in limited cases). You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): We do not “sell” personal information. Depending on your settings, using personalized ads may be considered “sharing” for cross‑context behavioral advertising. You may opt out of sale/sharing at any time via the in‑App Manage Privacy Settings (look for “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” or a similar choice). You also have rights to know, delete, correct, and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We respond to California requests within 45 days (extendable where permitted), and you may submit requests through an authorized agent consistent with California law.
Brazil (LGPD): You may have rights to confirm processing, access, correct, anonymize, block, or delete data, as well as data portability and information about shared use. You can withdraw ad consent in‑App using the Manage Privacy Settings button. We respond to LGPD requests within 15 days. You may also petition Brazil’s data protection authority (ANPD).
To exercise rights, contact admin@rigaroostudiosllc.com. Because we do not maintain user accounts, we may verify requests by asking you to write from the same email address you used to contact us or to provide limited information we already hold (e.g., details from your support email). If we are required under California law to offer additional request methods beyond email, we will provide those methods (e.g., a web form) and describe them in this Policy or on our website.
14) Language
The official language of this Privacy Policy is English. If any translated version conflicts with the English version, the English version will control, to the extent permitted by law.
15) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date shows the latest version. Your continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the changes.
